The men’s packable puffer jacket uses one of the lightest shell fabrics in our lineup, then backs it up with a genuinely substantial fill inside — so it doesn’t feel like much until you actually put it on and realize how much warmth is packed into something this thin.

It’s built for exactly one job: staying warm without adding bulk, whether that’s layered under a hoodie on a cold commute or folded into a bag for a trip where packing light actually matters.

A Featherweight Shell With Real Insulation Underneath

The outer shell is a 1 oz/yd² (39 gsm) 100% polyester — about as light as jacket fabric gets, chosen specifically so the shell itself adds almost no weight or bulk. What actually does the warming is the 80 gsm polyfill insulation underneath it, which is a genuinely solid fill weight for a jacket this thin. The combination is the whole trick here: a shell light enough to disappear into a bag, paired with insulation substantial enough that you’re not sacrificing real warmth to get there.

Simple, Smooth, One-Zip Design

Unlike some puffer styles that layer on multiple zippers and hardware, this one keeps it to a single center front reverse coil zipper — smooth, low-profile, and less likely to snag than a heavier zipper pull. It’s a deliberately simple build, which also keeps the jacket lighter overall and easier to fold down small.

Stretch Binding at the Cuffs and Hem

Instead of a plain elastic band, the cuffs and hem use a stretch binding — a knit-style trim that flexes with movement rather than just holding a fixed snug shape. It seals out cold air the same way elastic does, but tends to sit flatter against the skin and holds its shape better over repeated wear without stretching out and going loose.

Packs Into Its Own Pouch

This jacket folds down and stows into a separate storage pouch rather than a built-in pocket, keeping the packed size genuinely compact for a bag, backpack, or carry-on. It’s a straightforward packable design without extra features layered on top — just a jacket that gets small when you need it to and unfolds back to full size when you don’t.

Zippered Pockets

Because the shell fabric is so lightweight, there’s very little bulk added by the jacket itself, so sizing true to your usual fit generally works well, with a little extra room if you plan to layer underneath regularly. Care Instructions

Spot clean or hand wash in cold water. For a full wash, air dry or tumble dry on low with a couple of clean tennis balls to help the fill stay lofted rather than matting down, and avoid high heat entirely, which can damage both the shell and the insulation. Store the jacket in a breathable bag rather than compressed for long periods, which can flatten the fill over time.
